hendry_new.jpgStephen Hendry is the most successful player in snooker history. In the early 1990′s Hendry completely dominated the game, and seemed nearly unbeatable. Many people will remember the championship finals where he regularly beat the ever popular Jimmy White in the final, I like many others felt sorry for White. Hendry is known for his high concentration levels, and great ability to pot middle pockets balls. He is also very well liked on and off the table.

Due to his domination of the game Hendry was awarded an MBE in 1995. Since his glory days thing have slowed down for Stephen, he does however still reach the later stages of snooker championships, and he has never dropped out of the top 16 world rankings.
